Day One--Tuesday September 6, 2011

Day One Advanced Algebra. We are going to be spending a few minutes getting to know one another. We will also be going over the syllabus, getting books and calculators, and beginning some basic statistics. We will be using a text called Discovering Advanced Algebra. The link to that will allow you to use the online text and resources rather than having to haul a book home.

Wow it is really hard to believe that summer is over already!! We are heading back to school this week and it is going to be a busy one! First let me introduce myself. I am Mrs. Rumsey, your Advanced Algebra teacher. I have two daughters, Hannah and Maddie who are in 6th and 4th grades at Sparta. I graduated from SVSU with a bachelors in education and GVSU with a masters in Educational Leadership. This year I am teaching all Advanced Algebra and Calculus. It is a very exciting year. We will be preparing to take both the ACT/MME and AP Calc tests. I love when we have specific targets to work toward! I am available to assist any student who needs help before school, during school, and in the evenings via cell phone or email.
