Computer lab 10/11/13
Today we are in the media center west working on some of our function families and reviewing for our test next week. Please go to ixl.com sign into your ixl account and do the following problems
D2 identify the function (do 10 problems)
D2 Evaluate the function (do 10 problems)
J4 Graph a quadratic function (do 7 problems)
P1 Translations of functions (do 7 problems)
P2 Reflections of functions (do 7 problems)
P3 Dilations of functions (do 5 problems)
P4 Transformations of functions (do 5 problems)
if time do O4 Compositions of functions (f o g)(1) is the same as f(g(1)) (do 7 problems)
you do not need to write down your answers we can see online how many you get done and how many you get right. :) you can do your work online or on paper if you would like but you do not need to turn it in.

10/9/13
So far we ave looked at functions and how to tell if something is a function (vertical line test). We have looked at evaluating functions and composite functions. We have graphed and written equations for lines, quadratics, square root functions, and absolute value functions. Today we practiced with all the different types of functions. We will be testing on unit four next week. We also have parent teacher conferences next Monday night. Maybe we will see you there.
