Hope you are all having a great weekend!! I can't wait to get back to school this week and finish our stats unit. We will start the week with some data collection and research (as well as a look at how we can use data to our advantage). We will talk about a random sampling and how we can ensure that we have one. We will be using our data to create a presentation or visual that not only shows our data, but draws some conclusions. The project handout is posted below. This will be due on Wednesday at the beginning of class. On Wednesday we will also be reviewing our stats for our test on Thursday. This should be a pretty easy test and I am anticipating everyone will do well, but just in case we are offering a little incentive this week. Each of you who log on to this webpage and leave an appropriate comment by Wednesday will receive 5 extra credit points to be used on this week's test or a homework assignment of your choice. Hope you had a restful weekend, and on this very sad day in our history, let me say how proud I am to be an American and have the opportunity to teach each of you everyday! My thoughts and prayers go out to the families whose lives have been impacted by this tragedy every day for the last ten years.

I finished my project Monday night thinking it was due first thing Tuesday.
I guess if I would have used this well writeen site, then I could have taken my time and cleaned up a little more at home. Haha.
I finished my stats project on the first day!!! Im pretty positive that I can pass the test. I'm usually good at math so I should be ok! I am proud to be an American too and I pray for all the people that lost loved ones. They are in my hearts. My Grandparents anniversary is on this tragic day, and thankfully, nobody I know was hurt or killed in this occurence.
